PMP Exam Preparation
Under the guidance of the VP-Professional Development the chapter offers classes to prepare for the PMP examination. The classes are taught by volunteers from the chapter and offer an outstanding value. We typically offer the classes in the spring and fall. PMP Member’s Continuing Education
PMI Birmingham offers many opportunities for professional growth and continuing educational units.  The Vice President-Professional Development is charged to:

• Develop programs and other activities designed to support members’ certification and recertification.
• Award Professional Development Units (PDUs) for chapter events including the chapter monthly meeting and other appropriate activities.
• Be responsible for promoting Project Management Professionalism and certification through development of educational publications and seminars, and workshops.
• Establish and maintain a Chapter library of project management reading material and professional publications.
